SPI Angle Detection & Accelerometer Backlog

This plugin allows Syrus to detect inclination angles in the X,Y,Z axis as well as generate a file that has accelerometer data for up to 5 seconds before an impact and 3 seconds afterwards.

The angle detection can be used to configure threshold angles to detect inclination on any axis.  The accelerations are saved in a file at a rate of 50ms intervals, for up to 160 samples. This file can be generated once an important event occurs, for example a crash or collision event was detected, so you would trigger this acceleration data. The generated CSV file can be uploaded via FTP.

It is compatible with any Syrus device

• Angle detection and thresholds in X, Y, Z axis
• Frequency of up to 20Hz
• 5 seconds before a crash is detected and 3 seconds after
• G force of up to +/- 16G
• Max and min G force per axis – captured at 15ms intervals
