Sometimes ECUmonitor shows it is reading some specific information from the Onboard Computer
But data it is not arriving to rawdata:
You must check several things to identify the focus of the problem:
1. Check ECUmonitor activation. Command >QXAWA<. Answer should include the third byte in 1. Example>
>RXAWA00100000< Otherwise Activate it >SXAWA00100000<
2. Verify ECUmonitor status: >QXAEM0;+<. If answer is "D" Verify connection physically
3. Verify if a common value as well as RPM is present when it is queried directly to the unit (Ignition must be ON):
If there are values present, ECUmonitor its ok, so
4. Proceed to Check if the unit has configuration:
As shown in the image above unit has no Extended formats configured so eventually its configuration is possibly corrupted.
5. In case of memory corruption proceed with Configuration re-synchronization at:
Menu -> Devices -> [Select Device] -> Managed Configuration -> Set configuration
6. Otherwise, ECUmonitor could be configured to work in “Read Only Mode”. This can be verified with >QXAEML< command. 1 means active, 0 means Inactive.- This topic was modified 5 years, 4 months ago by Michel Castaño.
