Why my counters don’t update? / ¿Porque mis contadores no se actualizan?

The first thing you should verify is that the device is not having problems with ignition detection, if the vehicle is in motion and the ignition is off then that means there is a problem with the installation and it should be verified. If the problem continues to appear, ruling out that it does not have problems with the ignition then it is because the frames sent by the device do not have the extended tag of the counters, as could be the case of:

• CE: Ignition counter.
• CL: Idle counter.

That they are in charge of updating the ignition and idle counters, due to that reason they do not update the counters, the solution is quite simple, you only have to add the extended Tags with the XAEF command. To consult more information about the command you can access the following link

First consult the extended tags

And after add the extended tags of the counters to those who were already there

With these modification the counters now gonna updated.

Lo primero que debes verificar es que el dispositivo no esté teniendo problemas con la detección de ignición, si el vehículo se encuentra en movimiento y la ignición se encuentra apagada entonces eso quiere decir que hay un problema con la instalación y debe ser verificada. Si el inconveniente se sigue presentando, descartando que no tenga problemas con la ignición entonces es debido a que las tramas que envía el dispositivo no cuentan con los tags de los contadores como podrían ser el caso de:

• CE: Ignition counter.
• CL: Idle counter.

Que son los encargados de actualizar los contadores de ignición y ralentí, debido a ese motivo es que no actualizan los contadores, la solución es bastante sencilla, solamente debe de agregar los Tags extendidos con el comando XAEF. Primero consultar los tags extendidos

Y después agregar los tags de los contadores a los que ya se encontraban

>RXAEFA;AL;AC;VO;IO;DOP;SV;CF;BL;CV02;CV10;CV11;CV12;JO;CE;CL<

Con esas modificaciones ya los contadores se empezarán a actualizar.
