Como apuntar un dominio a Pegasus con un CNAME

Estas instrucciones son para clientes que quieren apuntar su dominio a los servidores de Pegasus.

El primer paso es entrar a los DNS settings de su webhost e ir al DNS Zone Editor

Seleccionas el dominio principal de tu Pegasus gateway, luego seleccionas el tipo de record: CNAME y le llena los siguientes campos:

Host Record: este es el subdominio de tu Pegasus gateway (puede ser www)

TTL: este valor lo puedes dejar con el valor preestablecido.

Type: CNAME

Points To: aqui va el subdominio asignado a su dominio por DCT. Siempre es: pegasus###.peginstances.com

 

Luego de unas horas puedes verificar que los cambios queden con la herramienta:

http://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/#CNAME/gps.mydomain.com

debes colocar el dominio completo de su Pegasus Gateway y seleccionar la opcion de CNAME.

This instructions are for clients that want to point their domain to Pegasus servers.

First step is to get into your webhost  DNS settings and go to DNS Zone Editor

Select your Pegasus Gateway main domain, then select record type: CNAME  and fill out the following fields:

Points To: here goes the Sub-domain asigned to your domain provided by DCT. Always is: pegasus###.peginstances.com

 

After a few hours you can double check that the changes took effect, with the tool:

you must type in the complete Pegasus Gateway domain and select the CNAME option.NAME.
